Malmö-based designer Kajsa Willner breathes new life into discarded wood pieces, meticulously transforming them into a series of artfully sculpted objects. Each creation is composed of the distinctive qualities of reclaimed wood pieces, assembled with wood glue and screws, and then painted in layers at her studio in Sweden. Willner’s creations are guided by the uniqueness and singularity of each waste wood piece, resulting in an aesthetic expression that explores the space between sculptural form and functional object.
