This table was designed with hot-rolled steel produced by heating at high temperature. Hot-rolled steel sheet has a vintage texture and attractive color, but this material has an extremely rough surface and is difficult to process. The rough property of the hot-rolled steel sheet was retained on the outside of the table while the inside was made smooth through pickling, and lastly rust preventive oil was applied for the finishing. As a result, both sides, the original rough side and the artificially-made soft side, coexist in this piece.
